About the role
Dynamiq Automation Solutions is seeking a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization of commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with strong diagnostic skills and experience working with commercial refrigeration systems, including parallel compression rack systems commonly found in supermarkets and large commercial facilities.
What you'll do
- Diagnose, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC/R equipment
- Troubleshoot refrigeration rack systems, condensers, evaporators and associated controls
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Perform system startups, inspections and operational testing
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
What we're looking for
- Experience working with commercial refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of parallel compression (rack) refrigeration systems
- Understanding of refrigeration cycles, superheat, subcooling and system diagnostics
- Basic understanding of air conditioning systems and airflow management
- Familiarity with psychrometric principles and air-side performance
- Ability to read technical documentation and equipment manuals
- Valid driver's license
